The Utah Legislature is the governing body charged with making laws in Utah. The State Senate consists of 29 senators, who serve 4 year terms. State House

House member serve 2 year terms, so every district gets to vote every even-numbered year.

House District 28

Currently represented by Brian King, this is the only house district in Summit County represented by a Democrat. It includes all of Summit Park and parts of Pinebrook. Find the official map of House District 28 in Summit County Here:

House District 53

Located across Rich, Morgan, Summit, Duchesne, and Daggett counties, House District 53 is one of the largest in the state. In Summit County, it includes :

  • Jeremy Ranch
  • Parts of Pinebrook
  • Parts of the Snyderville Basin
  • The entire Kamas Valley
  • North Summit, including Coalville, Henefer, and Echo.

House District 54

In Summit County, District 54 includes Silver Creek, Trailside, parts of the Snyderville Basin, and Park City proper.

State Senate

State Senators serve 4 year terms, meaning that during every election, only one of our senators is up for election. In 2020, Senate District 19 is up for election, and Senate District 26 will be up for election in 2022.

Senate District 26
