Join us on March 17, 2026, as we celebrate our new Summit County Democrats and meet the Democratic candidates vying to represent Summit County in 2026.
Community Caucus Night is an opportunity to meet with your party leaders, candidates, friends, and neighbors to help strengthen our Democratic Party in Summit County. This is grassroots organizing, and it's where change begins. At the Caucuses, we talk with one another. We meet within our precincts to nominate, then vote to elect precinct (county) voting delegates. Precinct (county) delegates commit to attending the county convention as voting delegates.
At the Caucus, in precinct meetings, we also gather names and signatures of volunteers interested in becoming State Delegates. The commitment for state delegates is to attend the State Convention on April 25 as voting delegates.
Both county and state delegates help change the political landscape in Summit County and in the State Legislature.
